Thank goodness I didn't wear my Sophia Loren dress today... It would have been a total waste. This is the second date in a month that was just awful, although more awful than the first. I'm seriously starting to wonder that now, since I've come into my own and have taken the time to get to know and actually like the "real" me, if I'll ever find a guy that will do the same. If I don't, that's fine. But geez, it is frustrating to go out with the wrong guy, again and again. And these are painful dates, not even fun "Mr. Wrong" dates. Sigh.
Since my classes are prepped for tomorrow, I'm going to take up residence on my couch for the rest of the evening and watch "Under the Tuscan Sun" and other chick movies. Hope you had a better Sunday than I did :)

Sorry the date didn't go well. At least you didn't waste a great dress!
Kiki, I'm usually a lurker, but I have to recommend a great book to you - "Straight Up and Dirty" by Stephanie Klein. If you haven't read it before, run (which I know you kick a** at!) to the book store and get it. It is SO good and I think you will really enjoy it. :)
Ugh...sorry to hear the date was so bad!
Couch lying sounds nice. :o) Hubs did that for the majority of today (he's not feeling well) so I ran around with the Pnut. I hope you watched some TV for us too!
Also - the store I was at was NY&Co (the buy one, get one 1/2 off bit). I have an email coupon I can send you as well if you like!
I totall feel for you right now...I remember all of the awful blind dates I went through and "you'd be great together" set-ups by well-meaning friends. Then one night, at the age of 32, I met the guy who'd be my husband at a bar, yes...the one spot I'd sworn off as a potential meeting place. We dated for 9 months....had a year-long engagement, and will celebrate 2 years of marriage this Decemeber. It'll happen again for you....just hang in there. You know what you deserve and settle for nothing less.
love the title
HATE it was disappointing.
Miz.
Bad dates are just future hilarious stories!!! Keep you chin up, chickie! It'll happen for you when you absolutley least expect it! =)
Too bad the date wasn't that great, but at least you have a good attitude about it. And I agree with (the other) Shanna, the bad ones can make for good stories. Hope you enjoyed the chick flicks (oh how I love lounging with a good chick flick- kind of jealous there).
Hang in there! So many fish in the sea should just stay at the bottom, shouldn't they? :) Can't wait to see you in November, let's make it happen!!
